FOR YOUR INFORMATION

Reception:

Our office hours are 7:00am to 8:00pm each weekday and from 8:00am weekends & public holidays.

Breakfast:

A choice of Hot and Cold foods is available for breakfast and is served to your room between 7:30am & 9:30am.   Please fill in the breakfast menu and return to reception by 7:00pm the night before.

For those travellers who want an early start or another option we offer a “Early Bird” menu which is provided to your room the night before departure to get you on the road when you want.  Contact reception who will arrange delivery to your room.

 Dinner:

Meals are available from the Ex-Services Club located next door.  They are open for lunch 12:00pm – 2:00pm and for dinner 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

There are also several cafes located across the road from the motel which offer meals all day.

Snacks:

The Ex-Services Club offers snacks all day and has a coffee lounge located within it.

Kitchen facilities:

For your convenience we have provided you with a kettle, microwave & toaster.   Coffee and tea making products, along with some biscuits, cutlery and crockery can be found in the drawers under the microwave.   Detergent, tea towel and insect repellent can be found under the kitchen sink.   Milk is in the refrigerator and should you require any further supplies please call/ask reception. If you require ice cubes, please ask at reception. NO OTHER COOKING IS TO BE DONE WITHIN THE ROOMS.

Cars & Parking:

Free car parking is available to guests outside each room.  For larger vehicles there is a space located at the end near the bowling green where you can park a trailer, van, etc.

Please do not park in the Ex-Services Club car park as this restricts their members parking.

The motel, or Club, does not accept any liability for loss or damage to cars, trailers etc and their contents.

Credit Cards:

We accept the following credit and debit cards: EFTPOS (no cash out), Visa, Mastercard and Visa Debit.

ATM:

There is an ATM located next door at the Ex-Services Club.

Credit Facilities:

Should you wish to apply for a company account please contact reception.  This may take approximately 14 days for the account to be set up.

Air Conditioning:

Remote control for air conditioner will be found on the bed side table for your convenience.   Please contact reception for adjustment of air conditioner if required.   For maximum effectiveness when using the air-conditioner the door and window must be closed.

USB Charging Station

For your convenience we have provided a USB charging point which is located on the power point beside your bed.  Using your device lead simply plug it into this space and recharge your device whilst resting.

Bathroom amenities:

We have provided you with an assortment of Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap/ etc.   These items will be found on the vanity in the bathroom. Tissues can be found in the top drawer of the bedside table.

Iron/Ironing board:

Iron and ironing board will be found in the cupboard behind the front door.

Extra Pillows, Towels & Blanket:

Extra pillows and towels are in the wardrobe behind the door, additional blankets can be found at reception.

Telephone:

Dial 0 for an outside line and then direct dial. Dial 9 to speak to reception.

Internet Connection:

Free Wi-Fi is available to all rooms.   Password can be found on the inside cover of this compendium.

Television:

Digital free to air channels are available on your 40-inch flat screen.   Remote for same is on bedside table. Please contact reception if you experience difficulties or the television requires adjustment.

Check-out:

Check out time is 10:00 am.   If you wish to have a late check out, please contact reception and we will endeavour to see if we can accommodate your request.   Please return key to reception upon check-out. Guests intending to depart before 7:00 am should settle their account on the night before departure and leave the key in the box near reception.

Non-smoking:

All our rooms are smoke free as per Government Health Regulations requirements.   We have placed ash trays outside the room for the convenience of guests who do smoke.

There is also no smoking within 4 meters of the reception door per the NSW Health Regulations.

Laundry:

Washing and drying service is available to all guests.  Should you wish to avail yourself of this service please seek assistance from reception, $15.00 per wash and dry.

Pets:

In accordance with Government Health Regulations pets are NOT PERMITTED in rooms. During your stay or upon departure, if it is brought to our attention that a pet has been brought into the room, management reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee.

BBQ Facilities:

A BBQ may be set up for our extended stay guests should they require to not go out for lunch or dinner.  Please ask at reception and they will arrange to have this set up for you.  A small charge of $10 will be incurred for using this facility.

Emergency Procedures:

Please refer to the evacuation information on the inside of your room door.  In an event of a fire, please leave the building as quickly and calmly as possible.

Environment:

Green Star: Balranald Club Motel has been awarded a ‘GREEN STAR’

A ‘Green Star’ indicates the property has the commitment to simple ‘common sense good practices’ – We need your help – e.g. turn off the lights and air conditioner when leaving the room – towels, bath mats etc. can be hung up indicating to cleaning staff that they don’t need replacing.   ‘Common sense’ application to good practices by you will help the impact on the environment and we thank you for your assistance.

Keys & Chargebacks:

You will be issued with your room key upon check-in.  Please always keep this key with you  as this proves you are a guest with us.

The key allows you to charge meals & drinks back to your room.  Just present your key to the establishment and sign their docket.  This facility is available at the Ex-Services Club and the Balranald Take-Away, Bakery & the Discovery Café which is at the Information Centre.  There will be a small surcharge added to any bill from these places to cover our administrative costs.

Additional Cleaning:

Whilst staying with us it is an expectation that good cleanliness standards are adhered to by our guests.   Where rooms are considered less than acceptable upon departure, management, at its absolute discretion, reserves the right to charge an additional fee.

Damages/ Guests Responsibility:

While staying in the Motel, guests shall be liable for damages caused by their act, omission or negligence. If damage is discovered after the guest has left, the Motel reserves the right to charge the guests credit card for the amount to repair any such damage.

Cancellation/No-Show:

Guests have the right to cancel their reservation up to 24 hours before arrival (2pm the day before). After this time, one night’s accommodation shall be charged automatically.

Should a guest fail to arrive, a no-show fee of one night’s accommodation will be charged.

Maintenance:

At Balranald Club Motel we aim to provide you with all services in good working order.   Please report any problems to reception.
